The Meylan Kendo Club was founded in 1986 and is affiliated to the French Judo and Combined Discipline Federation and to the National Kendo Commission. Our club is composed of approximately 70 members each year, 16 of whom are Black Belts (1st Dan to 6th dan). Female Kendokas represent 20% of our members.
Thanks to the town council, which lends us the Dojo free of charge, the club is 100% funded by the member subscriptions. This money is used to maintain the armours for the beginners ; help members participating to national, regional events (championships, training course) ; organise events.
